Questions
Do I need to export my Squarespace site?
No. The Squarespace export holds only text and posts anyway, not the design. We rebuild every page from your live site, the way visitors see it. You don’t need an export, and you don’t give us your Squarespace login.
My site is still on Squarespace 7.0. Does that work?
Yes. 7.0 or 7.1, classic editor or Fluid Engine: we rebuild from your live site, the way visitors see it. You don’t need to upgrade to 7.1 for it.
What becomes of forms, the shop and member areas?
Your contact form comes along and is tested before the switch, as are analytics and the cookie banner. The shop and member areas can’t move yet; if your site needs them, we tell you before you pay.
What happens to my Google listings?
Every page keeps its address, so links and Google listings still work. We carry over your page titles and descriptions and check them before the switch.
Do I keep my domain?
Yes, even if you bought it through Squarespace. Your domain stays yours; only the setting that says where it points changes.
Will my email keep working?
Yes. We only change where the website points. Your email isn’t touched.
